Freshly worn!

Vintage T-shirt effects: halftone, distressed and grunge

A vintage look makes a T-shirt seem as though it has been washed a hundred times: coarse halftone dots, frayed edges, scratches and flaking ink. Halftone 42 builds this look straight into the print file – with real gaps, not just an on-screen effect.

26 edge effects and generated textures

Edge effects range from “Fade into dots” and “Torn” to “Sprayed edge” and “Grainy stamp frame”. All are generated and never repeat; use “Variant” to roll a new shape. “Outside only” affects the outer edge; “Inside too” also affects holes in the design.

Textures remove colour from the print: Strength sets how much is removed at each point; Amount sets how much of the area is affected. Use the Brush and Eraser to restore or remove individual areas.
